A Very Special Place......A
Tradition of Caring
Let us show you how
we care for our residents
We know these are difficult
times for you. Choosing the right setting for a relative, a friend--or
even for yourself--isn't always easy. We know that many people see care
away from home as a last resort. But we're pleased to say it needn't be
that way. Here, our guests maintain that independence and dignity, while
enjoying the graciousness, companionship, and safety that we're famous for. Our
comfortable rooms, delicious meals, courteous service, and convenient location
are all designed to provide health care with a just-like-home feeling.

Rehabilitation Therapy Services
Недвижимость в испании недорого . drain plumber
Cypress Pointe offers comprehensive rehabilitation services of physical,
occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies. Upon referral by a
physician, patients are evaluated through formal and informal diagnostic
procedures to determine the type and extent of the patient's needs.
Recommendations are made for the appropriate interventions and rehabilitation.
If therapy is needed, an individualized plan is implemented. A team
approach is strongly emphasized in which the therapists work together with other
professionals to support each other's efforts to provide the best possible care
for each patient.
The Rehabilitation Team at Cypress Pointe will always set the goals that the
patients wish to attain. Home evaluations are performed on every patient
that returns home to allow the therapists to make recommendations for the
patient's home environment. We are always a little sad to see our patients
go home, but are very proud of their accomplishments.
We pride ourselves in the fact that our therapists are "our" therapists.
They are an integral part of our team, and we feel that this insures the best
quality of care for our patients.
Physical Therapy Services focus on strength training, range of motion
exercises, gait training, ambulation, wound care, surgical recovery, joint
mobilization, prosthetic management, mobility, transfer techniques, and
endurance activities, promote safety, and help each patient to reach their
highest level of independence.
Occupational Therapy Services focus on returning the patient to the
previous level of functioning with activities of daily living such as cooking,
dressing, eating, bathing, and safety issues. Services also include
positioning, splinting, time management techniques, and upper extremity
exercises. Developing fine motor skills, and teaching compensatory
strategies for improving safety awareness and reducing caregiver strain are also
how occupational therapy works to attain the patient's fullest potential.
Speech Therapy Services focus on speech, swallowing, oral motor
skills, delayed speech, comprehension, memory, and auditory involvement.
Speech pathologists work in conjunction with radiology to evaluate and treat
dysphasia. Maintaining communication with family members, friends, and
other care providers is important, especially at a time of many physical
changes. Regaining thinking skills for problem solving and decision making
is essential for resuming normal activities of daily living.
Respiratory Therapy Services focus on respiratory disorders to include
pneumonia, COPD, and bronchitis. Patients who manifest conditions which
compromise the cardiopulmonary system greatly benefit from skilled respiratory
therapy.
